Frequently Asked Questions

I teach maths and/or English, yoga and mindfulness techniques. I teach all Primary ages, but specialise in KS2. I also have experience of tutoring KS3 maths.

What subjects and ages do you teach?

I currently charge £40 an hour. As a private tutor, all fees go directly to me, so I can charge significantly less than a similarly qualified and experienced tutor through a tutoring agency, who add commission and other fees. I offer a discounted lesson if you refer me and it leads to me taking on a new student.

How much do you charge?

Yes, but I am also very happy for you to bring your child to my home in Hangleton, if you’d prefer. I cycle to most of my students’ houses, but on the occasions I need to drive and parking charges are required they will need to be covered by you.

Will you tutor my child in our home?

I am available on weekdays, both during and after school, and will do my best to accommodate your preferred time. I am unavailable on weekends, but I do tutor during the school holidays. To find out my availability, please send me a message and I will let you know.

When are you available?

Yes, I’m very happy to teach your child in a small group, if that suits everyone. This would make it a cheaper rate, according to the number of students in the group.

Do you offer small group sessions?

Yes, I am fully DBS checked and subscribe to the update service. I can provide my certificate upon request.

Do you have a DBS Certificate?

Please don’t hesitate to get in touch , if you have any further questions.
